Job Title: Adjunct Facilitator - I/O Psychology


Program: Industrial Organizational Psychology


Job Overview:

The Adjunct Facilitator will be responsible for the facilitation of courses in Industrial Organizational Psychology at the college level. This position will require the individual to deliver course content, assess learner performance, and provide feedback to learners. The Adjunct Instructor will also be expected to participate in departmental meetings and activities up to 3 times per month as part of their duties.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver course content in Industrial Organizational Psychology at the college level

  • Assess learner performance and provide feedback to learners

  • Participate in departmental meetings and activities up to 3 times per month

  • Stay current with developments in Human Resources (plus appropriate specialties) and incorporate new information into course content as appropriate

  • Provide support and guidance to learners as needed


Qualifications:

  • BA or similar Bachelor’s level degree or higher in I/O or a related field

    • At least 5 years of verifiable experience in the field with less than a Master’s degree is required.

  • Previous teaching experience at the college level preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organizational and time management skills


Working Conditions:

The Adjunct Facilitator will work in a remote setting which is free from distractions. This position may require being stationary for extended periods of time as well as potential eye strain from extended periods of computer activity.


Physical Requirements:

The Adjunct Facilitator must be able to sit for extended periods of time and may be required to lift and move equipment or materials as needed.


Compensation:

Adjunct Facilitator are compensated at 60% per credit hour per student.


  • Ex. UG courses are billed at $250/credit hour which equals $750 for the course. The Instructor would be compensated at a rate of $450 per enrolled student, per term. Fees are payable in two (2) installments: 1st, after successful completion/submission of midterm grades and 2nd, after successful completion/submission of final grades.
